A plastic-free cleaning revolution - dissolvable sachets and use your own containers!
For a smear free clean of windows and mirrors in the home you need a quality product. Simply spray a small amount onto the surface and wipe with a clean cloth, then use a second dry microfibre cloth for a streak free sparkle slightly scented with Apple & Mint.
Iron & Velvet's innovative water-soluble refill sachets can be used in any existing trigger spray you may have at home eliminating single use bottles, or if you prefer you could use another container and avoid the use of plastic altogether!
These cleaning products have been developed using plant derived, sustainably sourced active ingredients, as well as pure essential oils for fragrances wherever possible. This means up to 70% of Iron & Velvet's products are fully natural ingredients.
The sachets are made from Poly Vinyl Alcohol (PVA) which has been approved for use in pharmaceuticals, so you can be sure it’s a safe alternative to plastics.
Reuse your own container or trigger spray bottle. Just make sure it holds 500ml of water (or 250ml for oven and floor cleaners) to ensure the correct dilution. Make sure to attach the included labels onto your container so you don’t muddle up what’s what.
Your 5 sachets of cleaning solutions come in a nifty, recyclable cardboard box with full instructions and stickers to mark your bottles.

How to use: Simply clean a bottle or jar big enough for your cleaning solution, pop in a sachet, follow the enclosed instructions and top up with warm water, replace and tightly seal the lid, shake a little and within a couple of minutes you’ll see the sachet dissolve and the liquid inside mix with the water to make your cleaner!
Using warm water the sachets will take around 2-4 minutes to fully dissolve with a bit of shaking. Using hot water they’ll dissolve more quickly but you may find the cleaner is a little hazy, don’t worry, it will still work the same. Using cold water will take longer but again, it will work exactly the same in the end.
Ingredients: Iron & Velvet based their products on naturally derived plant extracts and materials including pure essential oils for the fragrances, a sustainably sourced palm oil derived soap and a secondary soap made from waste plant material left over from biofuel manufacture. They also use C12-15 Alcohol Ethoxylate and Isopropyl Alcohol at less than 0.4% and Monoethanolamine at less than 0.01% in the end cleaning solution for stabilising the essential oils and ensuring a safe pH. Their antibacterial agent is Quaternary ammonium compounds, benzyl-C12-14 (even-numbered)-alkyldimethyl, chlorides which is only found in the antibacterial products.
Product may not suitable for use on some paints and plastics, prior testing on a small inconspicuous section is recommended to confirm suitability
Storage: Iron & Velvet recommend storing the sachets in a dry, cool, secure location, away from children and pets within 5-35°C for the longest shelf life, the same goes for diluted solutions.

Don’t think they’re only concerned about plastic pollution at the expense of other environmental factors. Their paper and cardboard packaging comes from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified sources and the palm oil derived soap ingredient from an RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certified supplier.

Undelivered Orders
It is the customer's responsibility to check all delivery address details are correct before completing your purchase. Orders that go missing or are delivered to an incorrect address cannot be retrieved or replaced by us, if the delivery details were incorrect.
If your item is returned to us undelivered (for an incorrect postal address, not collected from courier in time, etc.), you will need to pay the full postage cost (i.e. £3.00 for a Royal Mail small parcel) to have your order resent to you.
We cannot refund orders that have not been delivered until 10 working days have passed since we posted it. They are still in the Royal Mail network and on their way.

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Returns made outside of the UK must be paid for by the customer.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, saleable and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original undamaged packaging. We cannot refund your delivery cost.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on toothbrushes, toiletries & cosmetics (including toothpaste, sunscreen and make-up), sanitary products (pads, pants & cups), tights & socks, or underwear.
We also cannot send a pre-paid label for an exchange if you did not receive your requested colour or pattern for a product that states we will send you one at random. We do our best to fulfil your requests based on the stock on hand. If you which to exchange such items, you can do so by paying the return postage yourselves.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Returns Postage
To make a return, please email us to receive an email with a pre-paid postage label and instructions regarding how to return the item to us. You will need to print your label and take the parcel to the Post Office. Your return postage will not be refunded if you pay for it yourself.
We cannot offer free returns on sale items.
If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable postal service at your own cost. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days. This will be the cost of the item returned and not include delivery costs.
If your items is not returned in a saleable condition you will need to pay to have your items returned to you again as they are your property. Please ensure you are eligible for a refund before returning an item to us.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
