KOOSHOO

When you choose KOOSHOO hair accessories, you are choosing organic, biodegradable, fairtrade and responsibly crafted products that are stylish, last longer and don't damage your hair. Quality, style and performance without ethical compromise. Change looks good on you!

Those missing hair bands don't vanish into thin air - they're in our earth and oceans, taking 500+ years to break down. Most are made from plastic-based synthetics that negatively affect our natural ecosystems.

Just like &Keep, KOOSHOO was founded by a husband and wife on a mission to live more sustainably in any way they can. As yoga teachers, KOOSHOO founders, Jesse and Rachel, found it difficult to find plastic free hair ties. Noticing a gap in the market, they spent two years researching the best hair ties on the market to understand where they succeeded and where they failed.

The KOOSHOO unisex collection now includes hair ties, scrunchies and super-soft headbands. They are environmentally-responsible, super comfy and non-pulling. They're strong enough for thick hair and soft enough to prevent hair tie headaches. Available in a variety of colours, KOOSHOO eco-friendly hair accessories are made from 100% sustainably and ethically sourced biodegradable materials. They are even hand dyed in solar powered dyeing houses with low impact, eco-friendly dyes. KOOSHOO organic hair ties come with a FSC certified 100% recycled paper card header that is recyclable.

portion of profits from each hair tie purchase is donated to charity by the brand. KOOSHOO partners with companies like their Fair Trade certified social-good garment manufacturer - a facility owned and operated by nuns. This partner uses company profits to fund a cancer treatment center for those without access to care.

Kooshoo means feeling good. The word hails from the rare language of Norfuk, a language indigenous to Norfolk Island, a 3x5 mile island in the South Pacific where 2/3 of the team were born and raised.
