Soothing vegan bicarb-free deodorant balm
The future of skincare - this soothing and softening deodorant balm is vegan, organic, bicarb-free and suitable for everyday use.
Scence use organic coconut oil, mango butter and essential oils in their deodorant balms (this one is mellow sage), along with magnesium to deodorise and organic arrowroot to absorb moisture. Their plastic-free deodorants contain no bicarbonate of soda, to minimise skin irritation.
As with all Scence products, their vegan deodorants are cruelty-free, gluten-free and are handmade in the UK, poured into 100% recyclable, compostable tubes.
Size: 75g tube - should last you 2 to 3 months providing great value for money.
Ingredients: Organic coconut oil, organic arrowroot, magnesium hydroxide, mango butter, sunflower wax, clary sage essential oil, ylang ylang essential oil. Naturally occurring in essential oils:
farnesol, benzyl salicylate, benzyl benzoate, linalool, geraniol, isoeugenol
Application: Use daily after showering. To release the balm push the base gently into the tube lid. Hold the balm against your underarm for 2-3 seconds to warm, then glide to apply. Keeps you feeling fresh and confident all day long.
Care: Please look after your product by storing it in a cool, dry place. Natural balms will soften in warm temperatures above 30 degrees but will become firm again if cooled.
Your paper container tube or jar may darken with the natural oils of your balm as you use it, developing a deeper patina. This is normal and doesn’t affect the quality of your balm. You can recycle or compost after use.
Use within 24 months of purchase. Do not use on broken skin or immediately after shaving/waxing. Discontinue use if adverse reaction occurs.

How does Natural Deodorant work?
Remember, it is not an antiperspirant so it will not stop you sweating (we are meant to sweat, it releases toxins) but it will work to eliminate body odour. It is not sweat that smells but rather the bacteria that forms during the process. The smell comes at the point where the sweat has dried and the bacteria on your armpits combine to give off the strong scent of Body Odour. Bacteria can also build on your clothes and thus the smell will exist there too.
How do you apply Natural Deodorant?
Simply and gently use the cardboard stick to rub the cream paste on to your undearms. You will not need much and it will absorb into your skin easily. If you find you have applied too much you still have the option of rubbing in gently using finger tips. You can reapply throughout the day should you feel it necessary, until you get to know how much you personally require.
If you are switching from a conventional deodorant or antiperspirant to a natural deodorant for the first time you may find that you need time to adjust. This is not always the case and most people make the switch without any problem.
Depending on the deodorant or antiperspirant products you have been previously using, your body may need time to expel the chemicals and additives used in your old deodorant which your body has become accustomed to.
Everyone is different so finding your preferred scent is something unique to you as is how much you need to apply and how frequently. This can also change with the seasons and even the day depending on what is going on.
For women, 'hormonal' perspiration is often more potent than physical perspiration and more is needed during that 'time of the month'. There are also differences with stress or emotional sweat compared to physical sweat, i.e. if you were at a workout in the gym.

Undelivered Orders
It is the customer's responsibility to check all delivery address details are correct before completing your purchase. Orders that go missing or are delivered to an incorrect address cannot be retrieved or replaced by us, if the delivery details were incorrect.
If your item is returned to us undelivered (for an incorrect postal address, not collected from courier in time, etc.), you will need to pay the full postage cost (i.e. £3.00 for a Royal Mail small parcel) to have your order resent to you.
We cannot refund orders that have not been delivered until 10 working days have passed since we posted it. They are still in the Royal Mail network and on their way.
If you order has not been delivered, please notify us within 30 days of the shipping confirmation email. After this time we will not be able to investigate or compensate for undelivered orders.

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, saleable and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original undamaged packaging if applicable. We cannot refund your delivery cost.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on toothbrushes, toiletries & cosmetics (including toothpaste, sunscreen and make-up), sanitary products (pads, pants & cups), tights & socks, or underwear.
We also cannot send a pre-paid label for an exchange if you did not receive your requested colour or pattern for a product that states we will send you one at random. We do our best to fulfil your requests based on the stock on hand. If you which to exchange such items, you can do so by paying the return postage yourselves.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Returns Postage
To make a return, please email us for instructions regarding how to return the item to us. We strongly advise you used a Tracked postage service and obtain a proof of postage. We cannot accept responsibility for any returns that do not arrive to us and are lost.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days. This will be the cost of the item returned and not include delivery costs.
If your items is not returned in a saleable condition you will need to pay to have your items returned to you again as they are your property. Please ensure you are eligible for a refund before returning an item to us.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
