Natural coconut fibre washing up scourer
This easy to grip LoofCo Kitchen Brush is hand-made in Sri Lanka from coconut coir fibre twisted around a galvanised rust-proof metal core, making them completely plastic free.
In a robust circular ‘donut’ shape there is also a handy cotton hanging loop, so the brush can hang up to dry between uses.
Coir is the fibrous material found beneath the matured brown coconut husk. Its unique properties make it ideal for making brushes and reduces global waste - discarded coconut husks are often burnt which is very damaging to the environment.
Size: 10cm diameter, 5cm deep
How to use: Rinse thoroughly before first use. Immerse in warm water and use with washing-up liquid or LoofCo Washing-Up Soap. Strong enough for cleaning around the kitchen and larger washing-up items.
To keep brush fresh between uses, rinse and shake out excess water and any food particles. Hang to dry from the convenient unbleached cotton loop. Occasionally soak in hot water with washing-up liquid and air dry to freshen brush.
Your LoofCo Kitchen Brush will last for many months in normal use and when worn out the fibres are biodegradable and metal core can be recycled.
