The Ecoegg Laundry Egg is a unique and innovative laundry washing system that cleans clothes effectively, using two types of mineral pellets plus a small amount of detergent, encased in a recyclable egg.
Containing no harmful chemicals and kind to your skin, the ecoegg Laundry Egg completely replaces laundry detergent and fabric conditioner, giving you a kinder laundry solution.
The mineral pellets work together in the water to effectively draw dirt from your clothing fibres and soften your clothes by changing the pH, leaving your laundry clean and fresh without using harmful chemical laden detergents.
The mineral pellets in the ecoegg Laundry Egg are perfect for people with sensitive skin, are non-biological and do not contain any petrochemicals, enzymes, bleaches, phosphates, parabens, SLS/SLES, palm oil or microplastics. You’ll need to replace your mineral pellets after approximately 2 months of use -this time frame will depend on whether you have the initial 70 wash egg or 50 wash refills, how often you put a wash on and the machine wash cycle you choose.

How to use:
We recommend cleaning your machine with an Ecoegg Detox Tablet so that any residue from previously used detergents or fabric conditioners are cleaned away.
Opening the Laundry Egg:

Hold the Laundry Egg with the larger half pointing downwards and the button facing towards you.

Hold the button down with your thumb or forefinger.

Whilst holding down the button, move the smaller half to the right so that the triangles line up.

When the triangles line up, the egg will come apart.

Now empty three bags of white pellets and one bag of black pellets into the larger end of the egg case.
Closing the Laundry Egg:

Hold the larger half of the Laundry Egg with the point facing downwards (the pellets should be in this half).

Line up each half so that the triangles point to each other.

Twist the top half to the left in the direction of the arrow until you hear a ‘click’ sound.

Place the Laundry Egg on top of your laundry in your washing machine.
Ingredients: Anionic surfactants > 30%, Non-ionic surfactants > 5% - 15%, Sodium carbonate > 11 % Sodium metasilicate > 11 %, Calcium carbonate > 10%. Fragranced versions also contain perfume.
Please read before use:
- Use one Laundry Egg with pellets for each normal wash load of 6-8kg
- Wash your coloured and white laundry separately and always follow the washing advice on your garment’s label
- The Laundry Egg can be used in High Efficiency (HE) washing machines
The Laundry Egg can be used for hand washing including delicates. Pre-soak the Laundry Egg for 5-10 minutes in the water before using.
- Only use the Laundry Egg up to 60 degrees Celsius/140 degrees Farenheit
- Remove the Laundry Egg from the machine between washes to let it dry
- Replace the white and black pellets after approximately 70 washes, or when the pellets fall below the half way line of the larger pointed end of the egg
- Warning: The pellets may be harmful if swallowed. If swallowed, please seek urgent medical advice. Should contact with your eyes occur, immediately flush them with water or a gentle eye wash and seek medical advice. The ecoegg Laundry Egg is not a toy and should not be treated as one. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Packaging: Egg shaped case is recyclable (category 5). Pellet bags are recyclable (category 5). Box is made from FSC approved card and is recyclable. Box and instructions are printed using vegetable inks.

Undelivered Orders
It is the customer's responsibility to check all delivery address details are correct before completing your purchase. Orders that go missing or are delivered to an incorrect address cannot be retrieved or replaced by us, if the delivery details were incorrect.
If your item is returned to us undelivered (for an incorrect postal address, not collected from courier in time, etc.), you will need to pay the full postage cost (i.e. £3.00 for a Royal Mail small parcel) to have your order resent to you.
We cannot refund orders that have not been delivered until 10 working days have passed since we posted it. They are still in the Royal Mail network and on their way.
If you order has not been delivered, please notify us within 30 days of the shipping confirmation email. After this time we will not be able to investigate or compensate for undelivered orders.

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Returns made outside of the UK must be paid for by the customer.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, saleable and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original undamaged packaging if applicable. We cannot refund your delivery cost.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on toothbrushes, toiletries & cosmetics (including toothpaste, sunscreen and make-up), sanitary products (pads, pants & cups), tights & socks, or underwear.
We also cannot send a pre-paid label for an exchange if you did not receive your requested colour or pattern for a product that states we will send you one at random. We do our best to fulfil your requests based on the stock on hand. If you which to exchange such items, you can do so by paying the return postage yourselves.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Returns Postage
To make a return, please email us for instructions regarding how to return the item to us. We strongly advise you used a Tracked postage service and obtain a proof of postage. We cannot accept responsibility for any returns that do not arrive to us and are lost.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days. This will be the cost of the item returned and not include delivery costs.
If your items is not returned in a saleable condition you will need to pay to have your items returned to you again as they are your property. Please ensure you are eligible for a refund before returning an item to us.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item you have purchased, please send us an email at hello@andkeep.com and we will discuss this with you. You will need to pay for the return postage.
