Friendly's handy little bar is kinder to the planet, gentler on your scalp, and leaves your hair super-duper soft and marvellously manageable.
For our conditioners we use a special blend of cocoa butter and castor oil to give you fabulous and frizz-free results with every wash.
We won’t go too geeky on you, but the bar’s cationic positive charges help leave hair softer, less tangled and altogether more manageable. At the same time, we’ve used essential oils of Lavender and Rose Geranium to add calming and anti-bacterial to its long list of benefits. It even comes in a nifty planet-friendly box, not a plastic bottle, which are recycled and recyclable.
Friendly Tip for great results: Mix the conditioner bar in a jug with 600ml of boiling water until dissolved. Allow the mixture too cool. Decant into a recycled conditioner bottle for easy application!
Ingredients: Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Ricinus communis (Castor) oil, Behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Cetearyl Alcohol, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender essential oil contains linalool, limonene, geraniol), Pelargonium graveolens (rose geranium essential oil contains linalool, citronella, geraniol).

*One of the natural ingredients that help these conditioner bars work so well contains tiny traces of auditable RSPO palm oil. Friendly are looking for alternatives as quickly as possible, so they’ll soon be 100% palm oil free.
Friendly by name, Friendly by nature
Rob & Geoff use the ancient cold-process method of soap making, which creates a biodegradable soap with zero by-products. There is literally no waste. Striving always to minimise their impact on the environment, as little energy as possible is used throughout production – every bar of Friendly Soap is poured, cut, stamped and packed by hand, here in the UK.
Friendly Soaps are all free from Palm Oil*, Parabens, Sulphates, Triclosan, Phthalates and Cruelty, as well as being boxed in plastic free, recycled (and recyclable) packaging. They are also registered with The Vegan Society, Cruelty Free International and have a 'Best' rating with Ethical Consumer.
Their story is all about what is left in as well as what is left out. Friendly Soaps won’t dry your skin because all the valuable, naturally-occurring glycerine is left in the soap, so you get a wash that is rich and moisturising.
Also, the soaps are all made using ethically-sourced natural plant-based oils – coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, shea butter and cocoa butter. Each has its own unique qualities and they are all naturally nourishing and moisturising.
Essential oils, flowers, spices and herbs are used for their scent and colour, their healing properties, and some – such as poppy seeds and hemp bran – will gently exfoliate the skin.
Friendly Soaps never use Palm Oil and believe the best thing for the rainforests, its animals and the earth is to avoid it entirely. Shea Butter is bought from a women’s worker cooperative in Ghana and the Coconut Oil is not produced using slave monkeys to pick the fruit. Yes, in some places, this actually happens!

You must order by 12:00 (noon) for your order to be posted the same day (Monday - Friday). This is a Royal Mail 24 service which is not guaranteed but best endeavours on behalf of Royal Mail to deliver your order 24 hours after posting.
If you order after noon on Friday, your order will be posted the following Monday. There are no mail collections on Saturdays. If you order on a Bank Holiday, or when we have our annual Christmas shutdown, your order will be posted the next working day.

Heavy Goods £20 (UK only)
As our gorgeous, handwoven rugs are a little on the heavy side, we charge a bit extra for your special delivery. Shipping time is 3-5 days.
Undelivered Orders
It is the customer's responsibility to check all delivery address details are correct before completing your purchase. Orders that go missing or are delivered to an incorrect address cannot be retrieved or replaced by us, if the delivery details were incorrect.
If your item is returned to us undelivered (for an incorrect postal address, not collected from courier in time, etc.), you will need to pay the full postage cost (i.e. £3 for a Royal Mail small parcel) to have your order resent to you.
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Returns made outside of the UK must be paid for by the customer.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original undamaged packaging. We cannot refund your delivery cost.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on toothbrushes, toiletries & cosmetics (including toothpaste, sunscreen and make-up), sanitary products (pads & cups), tights & socks, or underwear.
We also cannot send a pre-paid label for an exchange if you did not receive your requested colour or pattern for a product that states we will send you one at random. We do our best to fulfil your requests based on the stock on hand. If you which to exchange such items, you can do so by paying the return postage yourselves.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Returns Postage
To make a return, please email us to receive an email with a pre-paid postage label and instructions regarding how to return the item to us. You will need to print your label and take the parcel to the Post Office. Your return postage will not be refunded if you pay for it yourself.
We cannot offer free returns on sale items.
If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable postal service at your own cost. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days. This will be the cost of the item returned and not include delivery costs.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
