This cuddly soft plush captures the iconic puffin perfectly! Its brightly coloured beak and legs contrast with its distinctive black and white ‘tuxedo’, while careful embroidery highlights the bird’s facial markings. 

Half of the UK’s puffin population has been reduced to living in only a couple of sites. Despite being incredibly endearing and iconic, these birds are currently facing extinction - their eggs and chicks are being eaten at an increasing rate by predators due to their cliff habitats eroding, and they struggle to find enough food due to overfishing.

Did you know? 12 water bottles create enough fibre to make this 20cm soft toy! What a great way to repurpose waste. The bottles are shredded, crushed and melted to create yarn which is woven to create the base fabric.

The making of these beautiful toys has helped to recycle and repurpose more than 100 million water bottles. Considering many of the animals in this range have been affected by the manufacture and disposal of plastic, we think this is an amazing way to break the harmful cycle and raise awareness at the same time!

Keeleco is the 100% recycled range from Keel Toys. These toys are manufactured and stuffed with 100% recycled polyester from plastic waste. Weighted with recycled glass beads, these floppy toys have been perfectly designed for hugging by a loving new friend. Traditional glass eyes have been replaced with recycled polyester embroidered eyes which give a unique, and playful character to these Eco soft toys. The iconic Keel symbol and hang tag are now formed from card and attached to the toy with recycled polyester thread.
