Super-soft sloth toy made from recycled materials

This cuddly plush sloth is covered in soft grey fur, making it super huggable. Like the three-toed sloth, it has a pale round face and distinctive eye-markings - although unlike the real thing, this soft toy has plush toes instead of claws!

Sloth habitats are among the most encroached upon, as they live exclusively in rainforests in Central and South America. Climate change, logging, urbanisation, and corporate deforestation have all contributed to the rapid diminishing of their habitats, and sloths are forced to compete for fewer and fewer resources. Several species of sloth are at risk of becoming endangered.

This cutey makes perfect partner for bedtime stories and hugs before nodding off to sleep, or indeed any time of day!

Did you know? 10 water bottles create enough fibre to make this 18cm soft toy! What a great way to repurpose waste. The bottles are shredded, crushed and melted to create yarn which is woven to create the base fabric.

The making of these beautiful toys has helped to recycle and repurpose more than 100 million water bottles. Considering many of the animals in this range have been affected by the manufacture and disposal of plastic, we think this is an amazing way to break the harmful cycle and raise awareness at the same time!

Keeleco is the 100% recycled range from Keel Toys. These toys are manufactured and stuffed with 100% recycled polyester from plastic waste. Weighted with recycled glass beads, these floppy toys have been perfectly designed for hugging by a loving new friend. Traditional glass eyes have been replaced with recycled polyester embroidered eyes which give a unique, and playful character to these Eco soft toys. The iconic Keel symbol and hang tag are now formed from card and attached to the toy with recycled polyester thread. Even the sew in label is recycled, and all are manufactured in an ICTI ethical factory. Designed in the UK by Keel Toys we Love to Hug!
