Charity of the Quarter

Every day in Britain 150 families become homeless. Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through their advice, support and legal services. And they campaign to make sure that one day, no one will have to turn to them for help.

Shelter started in 1966 and last year alone, they responded to over 5 million requests for help. Their vision is 'a safe, secure, affordable home for everyone'.

Shelter are this quarter's choice of charity because we will never forget some people do not have a home to put mindfully-sourced items in, some families with children do not have a permanent roof over their heads and our ethos is all about giving back to people and planet.
