They were made from many different products including animal fats, but todays most popular waxes such as beeswax and soy are obtained as either by-products or from plants.

This kit contains enough sheets to produce 5 standard candles, or more smaller ones, and as no heat is involved, it is a greater starter kit to enjoy with children.

This kit contains: 5 coloured sheets of beeswax (20cm x 20cm), coloured beeswax strips, wick, and instructions plus 3 bees and some assorted ribbons for decorating - Enough to make 5 standard candles or 10 smaller ones if the beeswax sheet is cut down
