Sustainable dish washing brush made of coconut fibre
LoofCo Brushes are hand-crafted brushes for home cleaning. They are made from natural plant fibres, mainly loofah and coconut. The brushes are made in Sri Lanka from coir coconut fibre, rubber wood and galvanised wire. Coir is the fibrous material found beneath the matured brown coconut husk. It's unique properties make it ideal for brushes.
This Washing-Up Brush With Handle and curved head is designed for everyday washing-up and is robust enough for scrubbing baked-on food on pans.
Each brush measures 12.5 x 6 cm with a convenient string hanging loop.
How to use: Rinse thoroughly before first use. Immerse in warm water and use with detergent. After use, rinse and hang to dry from the string loop.
Your LoofCo Washing-Up Brush will last for many months in normal use and when worn out can be recycled.
LoofCo products are made with renewable raw materials of coconut, loofah, cotton and rubberwood that absorb CO2 when growing. CO2 is also saved by flattening their loofahs for transport. LoofCo uses Certified Carbon Neutral Shipping by sea and is Certified by Carbon Neutral Britain.
LoofCo sources fairly, creating employment, supporting farmers and celebrating traditional cottage industry skills and local crops. A strict ethical trading policy is adhered to throughout the supply chain regarding standards of employment & environmental stewardship.
