Winter classic organic cotton socks - good for you & the planet
New for Autumn/Winter 2021, Thought's super-soft GOTS organic cotton socks are available in this fun Christmas jumper bag in a Scandi fairisle design. Makes a fabulous gift.
Crafted in our incredibly soft GOTS organic cotton yarn, these sustainable socks are breathable and naturally kind, so your feet (and the planet) stay happy and healthy. Using GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) organic cotton means that it’s grown without harmful insecticides and pesticides. It also guarantees that our socks are created in factories that pay living wages, and treat the workers with respect at all times.
These socks make big steps towards sustainability thanks to their plant friendly fabric that keeps toes comfy and cosy too. Bamboo learns quick, cooling you down or warming you up. It’s silky soft to touch. And it’s just as gentle on the environment too; growing fast and using minimal resources.

"Creating Thoughtful Clothing alone isn’t enough. We value doing the right thing and want to feel good about everything we touch. That means we work ethically. From the fabrics we use, to how we design and make and deliver our garments. We think about every impact our business has. And it’s with the greater aim of minimising our environmental footprint.
We use natural, organic and recycled fabrics. It takes more time and consideration to use sustainable fabrics, but we see this as time well spent. Especially when it helps lower our impact on the planet.
We’re also proud supporters of slow fashion, which is why we design clothing intended to last.
The clothes we love wearing most will last longer with good care. Which is why we created our mantra. “Wear me, love me, mend me, pass me on.” It’s a reminder to look after what we own. Feel free to make this motto yours, too."
