This herringbone patterned wool throw in a warm orange shade has been skilfully produced from recycled wool clothing. The clothing is cleaned, broken down into fibres, spun into yarn and then woven into fabric.
The resulting fabric has a felt like feel, is weighty and, if you look closely you can even see the flecks of the different coloured garments that have been used to make the thread the throws are woven from.
This orange colour is a result of the original wool fabrics – no dyes are added. As a natural fibre product, it is completely biodegradable.
These blankets or throws have so many uses! Why not keep it in the car as a travel blanket or picnic rug, or use it at home as a bedspread or sofa snuggle!
