They are not recyclable due to their mixed materials so they sit in a landfill, pollute our earth, or disrupt our waterways, taking around 1,000 years to decompose. The answer to this waste is the traditional safety razor, the best alternative to plastic razors for men and women alike.

The Razor: The metal safety razor is cleverly designed to be used on the face and the body, with a grooved edge made for a precision wet shave that’s not only clean but gentle on the skin. The long handle and textured grip allow for a safe shave in those hard to reach areas.
Unlike their plastic counterparts, stainless steel razor blades are incredibly easy to recycle. Just remove the razor, wipe off the residue, and place it into the metal recycling alongside your food cans (inside a can so no-one gets cut).
Safety razors are much more affordable long-term when compared to a single-use razor as you only have to replace the blade, which costs pennies.

How to use: Before first use, unscrew the handle of the razor from the head and insert the blade (ensuring not to touch the sharp ends!), then securely reattach the head. Ensure the head is in the correct position with ridges facing upwards.
Moisten the razor and the skin, applying pressure shaving gel or oil. Hold the razor at a 45-degree angle to the skin and gently glide the razor over your skin, shaving only in straight lines. Avoid adding pressure to the razor.
This razor is unisex and can be used on all areas of the body, including the face, underarms and bikini areas.
Care: To ensure the longevity of your razor, rinse and wipe down after use and avoid exposure to long stints of moisture. Replace the blade after it becomes dull and place the razor head down into the cotton carry bag when storing.
Caution: Keep the razor and blade out of reach of children and babies. Recycle used blades responsibly. Store in a dry area or in the provided cotton bag. Always act with care.

Undelivered Orders
It is the customer's responsibility to check all delivery address details are correct before completing your purchase. Orders that go missing or are delivered to an incorrect address cannot be retrieved or replaced by us, if the delivery details were incorrect.
If your item is returned to us undelivered (for an incorrect postal address, not collected from courier in time, etc.), you will need to pay the full postage cost (i.e. £3.00 for a Royal Mail small parcel) to have your order resent to you.
We cannot refund orders that have not been delivered until 10 working days have passed since we posted it. They are still in the Royal Mail network and on their way.
If you order has not been delivered, please notify us within 30 days of the shipping confirmation email. After this time we will not be able to investigate or compensate for undelivered orders.

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Returns made outside of the UK must be paid for by the customer.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, saleable and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original undamaged packaging if applicable. We cannot refund your delivery cost.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on toothbrushes, toiletries & cosmetics (including toothpaste, sunscreen and make-up), sanitary products (pads, pants & cups), tights & socks, or underwear.
We also cannot send a pre-paid label for an exchange if you did not receive your requested colour or pattern for a product that states we will send you one at random. We do our best to fulfil your requests based on the stock on hand. If you which to exchange such items, you can do so by paying the return postage yourselves.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Returns Postage
To make a return, please email us for instructions regarding how to return the item to us. We strongly advise you used a Tracked postage service and obtain a proof of postage. We cannot accept responsibility for any returns that do not arrive to us and are lost.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days. This will be the cost of the item returned and not include delivery costs.
If your items is not returned in a saleable condition you will need to pay to have your items returned to you again as they are your property. Please ensure you are eligible for a refund before returning an item to us.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item you have purchased, please send us an email at hello@andkeep.com and we will discuss this with you. You will need to pay for the return postage.
